Technological and Industrial Partner

Archimede Solar Energy, a company of the Industrial Group Angelantoni S.p.A., world leader in the production of solar receiver tubes for Concentrating Solar Power plants. The receivers developed and produced by Archimede Solar Energy, with the contribution of ENEA, are designed to operate at high temperatures with all types of heat transfer fluid.

Our Story

Elianto was founded in May 2007 as a Spin-Off company of CRS4 (Center for Advanced Studies, Research and Development in Sardinia) and intends to seize the opportunity of supplying Solar Power to innovative industrial plants, which use the Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) technology.

Elianto dedicated the first development phase to the construction of a prototype of the Elianto CSP technology. The results obtained from the first plant confirmed the maturity of the technology and lead to the conclusion of an important partnership, signed in September 2010, by Elianto, the Italian industrial group Angelantoni Industrie Spa and a venture capital.

By the beginning of year 2013, Elianto signed an agreement with a leader company, operating in the renewable energy sector and started the construction of the first industrial plant in the southern part of Italy. This CSP plant has started its operations during December 2013.
